Job summary

Newman\'s Own, Inc. in Westport, CT seeks a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to own the analytical engine of the function, delivering forecasts, detailed models, timely reporting, and variance analysis across the P&L.

The role partners with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounting to ensure data integrity and reliable insight. This in-office role requires four days per week in Westport, CT, Monday through Thursday, with the FP&A Director focusing on enterprise

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.
• 5-7 years prior related FP&A experience in the CPG industry.
• CPG industry experience in supply chain or sales finance preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, strong bias for action, ability to prioritize tasks and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working as a business partner in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly forecasts, annual budget inputs, and rolling outlooks across revenue, trade, gross margin, operating expenses, and Profit.
• Maintain and update driver-based planning models to reflect current business conditions and assumptions.
• Consolidate cross functional inputs into accurate, timely financial forecasts.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting packages, dashboards, and board materials.
• Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year, clearly identifying drivers.
• Support Accounting during the close process to ensure consistency between financial results and management reporting.
• Partner daily with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounting to support forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Translate financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
