Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) seeks a Marketing Intern - Event Coordination to assist with planning, coordinating, and executing CSI’s major events across multiple locations. The intern will support the Marketing team with graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite and maintain event logistics, item selections, orders, shipments, and distribution details.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to track deadlines, orders, and vendor info.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proactive follow-up.

• Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CSI events across multiple locations (venues, catering, AV, transportation, rentals, supplies).
• Maintain event timelines, budgets, vendor info, contracts, deadlines, and attendee details.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams; confirm arrangements and follow-up on outstanding items.
• Assist with employee apparel, gifts, and swag; track selections, sizes, orders, and shipments.
• Organize and ship event materials, including out-of-state items; maintain distribution records.
• Support graphic design and marketing projects using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Prepare, format, and proof marketing materials for print and digital channels.
