Job summary

Mid Atlantic Kitchen and Bath Specialists is seeking an Events Marketing Manager to lead a demonstrator team and grow our presence at shows and events across the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia areas.

You will recruit, train, and manage a group of Event Demonstrators, book new shows, generate leads, and report on budget, productivity, and results every week.

This role requires strong leadership, customer-facing skills, and weekend availability, with base pay plus commissions at promotional events.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience in a promotional/event setting.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience.
• Recruiting and hiring experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended periods at event booths.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and administration.
• Willingness to work every weekend.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for the weekend within the territory.
• Generate leads that convert to sales from event booths.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage the event demonstrators.
• Ensure promotional booths are set up and removed at events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules for events and team.
• Maintain, track, and report department productivity, labor, inventory, and budget weekly.
• Set and pursue goals for each event, week, and month.
• Maintain open, prompt communication with supervision and other departments.

Events Marketing Manager

Mid Atlantic Kitchen and Bath Specialists is seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events in the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia Areas.

You and your team of demonstrators will be responsible for generating new prospective customers through marketing and selling our products and services in promotional booths at the area events, fairs, and festivals everybody's talking about!

As An Events Marketing Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in.
• Generate leads that generate sales and profit from these show and event booths.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you.
• Help ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully at and removed from these shows & events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team.
• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department’s productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments.

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience
• Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience
• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus
• Great interpersonal skills: You must want to talk with new people and customers, and be decent at it!
• Valid Driver’s License & Your Own Reliable Vehicle (Non-commute work travel reimbursed!)
• Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths.
• At least basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties.
• Must want to work every weekend.

Helpful Skills

• Promotional marketing experience at events is a big plus.

Compensation: $800-$1,200/Week Base Salary, PLUS Commission and Demo Bonuses on appointments and sales from marketing at events!
