We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Marketing to lead marketing strategy, brand development, demand generation, and team performance across a dynamic portfolio of B2B and consumer-facing channels.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a marketing executive who can connect strategy to measurable commercial outcomes. You will shape how marketing supports revenue growth, strengthens customer and channel engagement, and advances a multi-brand business through a period of transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and lead an integrated marketing strategy that supports growth, customer engagement, channel performance, and long-term brand health.
- Lead marketing across complex B2B and B2C channels, including independent retailers, mass-market partners, business-to-business customers, and consumer brands.
- Build demand-generation and channel-marketing programs that improve sales effectiveness and deliver measurable business results.
- Set strategic direction for a multi-brand portfolio, ensuring clear positioning, cohesive brand hierarchy, and alignment with customer and market needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop an internal creative and marketing team while helping shape the future marketing organization.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Development, Communications, leadership, and external agencies to translate business priorities into market-facing initiatives.
- Manage external agency relationships, ensuring strong collaboration, effective execution, and accountability for results.
- Own marketing priorities, resource allocation, and budget decisions using performance data, customer insight, and business impact.
- Help advance marketing operations and technology capabilities, including initiatives involving CRM, digital asset management, product information management, and enterprise systems.
- Bring a hands-on, change-oriented approach to building processes, capabilities, and team alignment during an evolving business transformation.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility for strategy, teams, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated success using marketing as a commercial growth driver—not solely as a brand function.
- Experience working across both B2B and B2C marketing environments.
- Strong understanding of channel marketing, demand generation, multi-brand strategy, and customer segmentation.
- Experience supporting retail, mass-market, consumer products, agriculture, horticulture, or similarly complex channel ecosystems is highly valued.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a mid-sized, growth-oriented organization.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing marketing or creative teams.
- Strong agency-management skills and the ability to build productive external partnerships.
- Business acumen, including comfort with performance metrics, budget management, revenue drivers, and return on marketing investment.
- Experience navigating organizational change, building new capabilities, and creating clarity through transformation.
- Familiarity with marketing technology and systems such as CRM, DAM, PIM, ERP, or related platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
