Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking an Experienced Marketing Coordinator for its Architecture & Building Engineering group. The role is available in Sacramento, CA, as well as Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA.

You will lead proposal development, craft marketing materials, and drive business development initiatives. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and multiple years of experience in marketing within A/E firms, with fluency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and InDesign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 6 years, or 8+ years of experience without a degree.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction firms preferred.
• Experience leading proposal submissions (RFP/RFQs).
• Strong ability to translate technical language into accessible content.
• High quality copy editing and deadline management.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools to boost productivity and reduce errors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process including go/no-go and kickoff meetings.
• Strategize with business units to meet plans and goals.
• Create marketing materials such as presentations and social content.
• Lead interview preparation and award submissions.
• Develop and manage annual marketing plan, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate business development calls and generate reports.
