Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our Proposal Development team across multiple office locations including Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, or Tulsa. The role guides a collaborative process to develop high-quality, competitive proposals for engineering and environmental projects, leveraging cross-disciplinary strengths.

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Proposal Coordinator for our Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, or Tulsa office(s). As part of our Proposal Development team.

As part of our Proposal Development team, Proposal Coordinator will guide and facilitate a collaborative process to develop high-quality, competitive proposals for engineering and environmental projects. Working closely with colleagues across disciplines, this position brings together diverse skills and perspectives to ensure each proposal benefits from the strengths of the entire team.

Key Responsibilities

• In your role as a Proposal Coordinator, you will work with our pursuit teams and manage technical staff to deliver high-quality proposals to our clients and win competitive project opportunities.
• The Proposal Development Coordinator prepares concise, compelling, and compliant narratives that guide proposal content. You will participate in strategy meetings, develop storyboards and layouts, create and track action items, and monitor task completion.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience
• Two or more years of InDesign Experience
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• An eye for layout of documents

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Documented ability to share creative ideas for communicating complex information to a range of audiences using clear text and eye-catching layouts
