Marketing Communications Strategy Manager

At KWS Vegetables, we’re on the hunt for a trailblazing Marketing Communications Strategy Manager to lead the creation of bold campaigns around our vegetable crops, mentor marketing professionals in our primary markets, and elevate our brand worldwide.

This isn’t your typical 9-to-5. One day you’ll be outlining a global strategy for tomatoes; the next, coaching a team in Brazil or brainstorming with creatives about a watermelon launch that turns heads. Your mission? To push boundaries, generate fresh ideas, and make our brand impossible to ignore.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and implement marketing strategies: Create and deliver global marketing communication plans that promote the KWS Vegetables brand, products, and services to growers and value chain partners. Ensure all strategies align with global marketing goals and maintain brand consistency.
  2. Lead global campaigns and create content: Guide teams to develop creative marketing ideas and content that resonate with customers. Organize international product launches and campaigns, providing local teams with content toolkits to support global initiatives.
  3. Support and guide teams: Mentor local Marketing Specialists in planning and executing campaigns, events, and product launches. Collaborate with Product Managers and Researchers to develop content highlighting new product benefits.
  4. Track and improve results: Analyze marketing data, monitor campaign performance, update customer personas, and maintain the global marketing calendar to ensure alignment and effective planning.
  5. Work with Agencies and Stakeholders: Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, represent KWS Vegetables in marketing meetings, and coordinate with other teams.

Work at our headquarters in Andijk (NL) at least three days per week to ensure effective collaboration and strategy implementation.

Required Skills:
  • University/BA degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in international marketing, preferably in agrifood or fresh produce sectors.
  • Ability to develop clear, strategic marketing plans that support business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to work across cultures.
  • Friendly, approachable, and a strong mentor.
  • Creative mindset for developing innovative campaigns and strategies.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to address needs effectively.
  • Knowledge of branding principles and messaging consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch or Spanish proficiency is a plus.
