Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a Director of Marketing and Business Development to lead the strategic marketing direction for Ellenton Premium Outlets. You will drive revenue through property and media assets and manage partnerships with retailers, advertisers, and the local business community.

In this role you will develop annual marketing plans, manage budgets, forecast results, and optimize ROI. You will also lead social media growth and oversee mall programming, signage, and media relations

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in sales, marketing, or business.
• 4–6 years of experience in sales, sponsorship, strategic marketing, event management, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of retail management, marketing and advertising; media industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify, create and sell revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of mall assets, media assets, and mall programming to achieve financial goals.
• Develop and implement retailer intensification strategies.
• Promote platform program opportunities to retailers and secure offers to enhance programming.
• Execute national/regional SBV programs and initiatives at field level.
• Create annual marketing budgets based on retailer dues and allocated expenses to support platform programming and brand messaging.
• Forecast monthly results and maximize marketing dollars by ROI analysis.
• Develop and execute an annual marketing plan leveraging platform programs to support corporate objectives and center performance.
• Coordinate mall visual merchandising, signage and advertising programs.
• Maintain media relations and respond to media inquiries.
• Grow social media presence (Facebook/Instagram) and data collection channels (SMS/Email).
• Participate in Manager on Duty rotation and other management duties.
