Job summary

Simon Property Group seeks a Director of Marketing and Business Development for Ellenton Premium Outlets. You will lead revenue generation through sale of mall assets and media, driving the overall marketing strategy for the center.

Responsibilities include developing retailer programs, managing budgets, forecasting ROI, and expanding social media engagement while coordinating merchandising and media relations to support center objectives.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in sales, marketing, or business.
• 4–6 years experience in sales, sponsorship, strategic marketing, event management and budgeting.
• Knowledge of retail management, marketing, advertising, and media.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, selling and negotiation skills.
• Strong computing skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings.
• Strong team building and coaching skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell revenue opportunities through mall assets and media assets.
• Develop retailer intensification strategies and secure retailer offers.
• Execute national/regional SBV programs at the field level.
• Create annual marketing budgets and forecast ROI.
• Develop and implement an annual marketing plan to support platform programs and center objectives.
• Coordinate shopping center visual merchandising, signage and advertising.
• Maintain effective media relations and respond to inquiries.
• Grow social media presence and data collection (SMS/Email) for the unit.
• Participate in Manager on Duty rotations and mall management duties.
