Job summary

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to support and enhance the Marketo platform and related CRM integrations. You will work with IT, Marketing Operations, and Sales Operations to ensure scalable, reliable marketing automation processes and data governance.

Responsibilities include configuring platforms, managing integrations, and maintaining data quality. You will contribute to cross‑system alignment, form and asset testing, and workflow automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years in a technical, engineering, or systems support role.
• Understanding of APIs and webhooks, or willingness to learn integration concepts.
• Exposure to CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot) or marketing automation; prior Marketo experience not required.
• Comfort with structured data: field mapping, data types, and schema logic.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support user accounts, access permissions, and role governance across marketing automation and CRM platforms.
• Translate requirements into technical configurations, templates, and scalable solutions in marketing automation platforms.
• Maintain platform architecture: folders, naming, tokens, and program frameworks.
• Build and maintain field mappings between marketing platform and CRM; ensure data quality.
• Create/test forms, landing pages, and assets in Sandbox and Production using HTML/CSS.
