Finch Brands is seeking a highly organized, proactive B2B Marketing Associate to support and help advance our marketing efforts. This is a hands-on role for an early-career marketer who is equally comfortable developing content, managing details, working in marketing technology platforms, and coordinating initiatives across multiple channels.
You will help Finch Brands reach and engage senior business audiences, including insights leaders for our Insights Communities practice, as well as private equity firms and portfolio company leaders for our M&A brand strategy work.
The Marketing Associate will work closely with Finch leadership, internal subject matter experts, business development colleagues, designers, and external partners to bring marketing programs to life. The ideal candidate combines strong writing and project-management skills with working knowledge of HubSpot, LinkedIn, SEO, and emerging approaches to Generative Engine Optimization and AI search visibility.
What You’ll Do
Content and Thought Leadership
- Develop, edit, schedule, and publish organic LinkedIn content for Finch Brands and, when appropriate, support thought leadership content for Finch leaders and subject matter experts.
- Maintain an integrated editorial and social content calendar aligned with Finch’s business-development priorities, events, service offerings, and thought leadership themes.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to turn ideas, presentations, research, conversations, and existing materials into compelling B2B content.
- Draft, edit, format, and publish blog posts, case studies, articles, newsletters, webinar promotions, landing-page copy, and related marketing materials.
- Repurpose long-form content into social posts, email content, short-form articles, presentation materials, and other channel-appropriate formats.
- Ensure content reflects Finch Brands’ voice, positioning, and standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Help identify timely topics, buyer questions, category trends, and competitive activity that can inform future content.
Website, SEO, GEO, and AI Search
- Manage routine website content updates and coordinate with internal or external web resources when technical support is required.
- Review and refresh existing content to improve search visibility, AI citation potential, accuracy, relevance, and conversion.
- Monitor Finch's visibility across traditional and AI-powered search experiences, working with partners to identify gaps, competitive opportunities, priority topics, and actions to strengthen discoverability.
- Help identify opportunities for new content, original research, thought leadership, third-party authority signals, and website improvements that strengthen Finch's visibility with priority audiences.
HubSpot, Email, and Marketing Operations
- Manage day-to-day marketing activity in HubSpot, including campaign setup, email deployment, landing pages, forms, workflows, and basic reporting.
- Create and deploy client-facing and prospect-facing newsletters for Finch’s priority audiences.
- Coordinate testing and quality assurance for emails, forms, landing pages, links, tracking parameters, and automated workflows.
- Support lead capture, routing, nurture campaigns, and follow-up processes in partnership with business development.
Trade Shows, Webinars, and Events
- Manage the planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and industry events.
- Maintain event timelines, budgets, registration details, sponsorship requirements, deliverables, shipping, collateral, booth assets, staffing needs, promotion, and deadlines.
- Coordinate across internal stakeholders, vendors, designers, event organizers, and participating team members.
- Develop pre-event, during-event, and post-event communication and content plans.
- Ensure event-generated contacts and activities are properly captured in HubSpot and incorporated into follow-up campaigns.
- Conduct post-event reviews and document results, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.
Creative and Marketing Support
- Develop or adapt basic visual assets, social graphics, email graphics, presentation materials, and simple marketing collateral using established Finch templates.
- Coordinate with Finch’s design team on more complex creative needs, providing clear briefs, accurate copy, specifications, and timelines.
- Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets, templates, case studies, photography, video, speaker information, and event materials.
- Support occasional market, audience, and competitive research.
- Assist with additional marketing and growth initiatives as priorities evolve.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Approximately two to four years of experience in B2B marketing, professional services marketing, agency marketing, consulting marketing, or a similarly complex business environment.
- Demonstrated experience using HubSpot Marketing Hub, including email campaigns, lists and segmentation, landing pages or forms, campaign tracking, and reporting.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and message-development skills for professional and executive audiences.
- Experience creating and managing content for LinkedIn, with an understanding of how company-page and individual thought leadership content serve different purposes.
- Demonstrated interest in SEO, AI search visibility, GEO/AEO, or emerging digital discovery practices, with the curiosity and initiative to stay current as platforms, technologies, and best practices evolve.
- Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, timelines, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, follow-through, and quality control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing consulting, research, technology, financial services, private equity, M&A advisory, or other sophisticated professional services.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, or similar design tools.

- Experience with short-form video, motion content, webinars, or podcast assets.
- Familiarity with marketing attribution, UTM conventions, lead lifecycle stages, and CRM data hygiene.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate content development, research, repurposing, and quality assurance while maintaining editorial judgment and accuracy.
Candidate Attributes
- Curious about brands, businesses, audiences, and emerging marketing practices
- Comfortable owning work from initial brief through final deployment
- Able to balance creativity with execution and measurement
- Comfortable asking questions early rather than allowing ambiguity to create errors
- Eager to learn and improve systems, not simply complete assigned tasks
