Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a senior marketing leader in Spokane, WA to own brand strategy, demand generation, and the marketing tech stack. You will align sales with targeted campaigns, develop customer-focused programs, and drive pipeline growth across digital and traditional channels.

The role requires 5+ years in marketing or business development, strong analytical skills, and expertise with Salesforce and Pardot. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize content, data quality, and ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing or business development; industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with generative AI tools (Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, Canva, Jasper, Perplexity, etc.) for content, campaigns, and marketing automation.
  • Hands‑on CRM and marketing automation experience (Salesforce and Pardot/Account Engagement or equivalent) - dashboards, list building, lead routing, and data quality at scale.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, web CMS (WordPress or similar), web forms, and GA4 analytics.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Power Automate, or similar) to streamline reporting and connect systems.
  • Graphic design and video production skills (Adobe/Canva, video editing, voiceover).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills -- managing multiple priorities, delegating effectively, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical, resourceful problem‑solver committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Track industry trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics, translating intelligence into integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.
  • Own the brand strategy, ensuring consistent representation across channels and through acquisitions.
  • Partner with Sales Support to equip sales with tools, training, and materials, driving lead generation and pipeline growth.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture by building processes to capture Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights.
  • Own the marketing technology stack — Salesforce, Pardot, ZoomInfo; lead capture and routing, data hygiene, segmentation, and attribution reporting.
  • Build marketing automation and reporting workflows delivering CRM intelligence to sales and leadership (deal alerts, pipeline digests, prospect activity, KPI dashboards).
  • Manage the corporate website end-to-end — content, design/build, forms, SEO, analytics.
  • Plan and execute demand generation programs (paid search, email campaigns, targeted prospect lists), with performance and pipeline reporting.
