Job Summary

Our client, a leading financial business services provider, is seeking a Market Research Specialist to support the design and execution of primary market research initiatives. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, uncovering actionable insights, and delivering strategic recommendations that inform business and marketing decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in market research methodologies, data interpretation, and stakeholder collaboration, with a proven ability to translate research findings into meaningful business outcomes.

Core Responsibilities
  • Leverage primary and secondary research methodologies to inform business and marketing strategies
  • Support the design, execution, and analysis of market research projects
  • Determine appropriate research methods, evaluate feasibility, manage vendor relationships, and assess project costs
  • Conduct analyses, develop reports, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Partner with business, media, advertising, and marketing teams to identify knowledge gaps and research opportunities
  • Translate business objectives into comprehensive research plans that support strategic decision-making
  • Present brand and marketing insights through compelling storytelling and data-driven recommendations
  • Influence key stakeholders by communicating actionable insights and business implications
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and reporting to support critical business decisions
  • Stay current on market research best practices and evidence-based marketing approaches
  • Contribute to the refinement of brand strategy and measurement frameworks
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a primary market research role on either the client side or supplier side
  • Experience designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of primary market research experience
  • Experience managing or supporting brand health tracking studies and long-term marketing effectiveness research
  • Background in financial services, banking, or highly regulated industries
  • Expertise in B2B and B2C technology research
  • Experience managing ongoing research tracking programs
  • Hands-on experience with analytical and statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or similar database technologies
  • Experience in a client-facing consultative role, either internally or externally
  • Experience working within a Fortune 500 organization or a company recognized for marketing and market research excellence

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $24.00 and $35.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
