Job description

The Full-Time Marketing Account Manager Trainee serves as a direct point of contact for individual consumers and businesses. As the Marketing Account Manager Trainee, you will ensure all customers receive an above-average level of service, respond to inquiries about products, and are responsible for accurate data entry, including billing and pricing. The objective of this position is to meet the client's mission and goals, ultimately resulting in outstanding customer service.

Marketing Account Manager Trainee Tasks:

  1. Ability to interact with customers in a consistently positive and professional manner
  2. Manage a high volume of customer interactions
  3. Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions
  4. Ability to use customer service software to answer customer questions and enter orders
  5. Handle all paperwork associated with customer transactions
  6. Develop product knowledge to answer customer inquiries
  7. Inform the customers of new products or special offers
  8. Work in a well-organized manner
  9. Support other positions as needed
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager

Marketing Account Manager Trainee Skills/Qualifications:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  2. Microsoft Office experience required; CRM software preferred
  3. Customer service experience required
  4. POS system experience preferred
  5. Must have good analytical and mathematical skills
  6. Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  7. Knowledge of the food and beverage industry and products a plus

The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and be an excellent communicator, both on paper and over the phone, as they will frequently deal with customers.
