Aflac is seeking an experienced Training Director to lead market-level sales training initiatives across the US. The role combines in-person and field coaching to elevate the skills and knowledge of insurance professionals at all levels.

The position requires expertise in curriculum design, public speaking, and leadership, with a focus on collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory environment.
• Skilled in classroom management, public speaking, sales training, coaching, and leadership to effectively engage and develop insurance professionals.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; knowledge of instructional design principles and training needs analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define market level training strategy with the Market Director, aligning objectives with sales strategies.
• Develop and implement sales training programs, workshops, and tools to improve skills and product knowledge.
• Deliver engaging, in-person training sessions and coaching to sales professionals and managers.
• Provide ongoing consultation to leadership on team development and performance improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align training with marketing and business goals.
• Monitor outcomes and evaluate program effectiveness through metrics and feedback.
• Stay current on industry trends and learning technologies to enhance training approaches.
• Lead onboarding and development initiatives for the sales team.
• Support new recruits with guidance and resources as needed.
