Meier Agency is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead in-field training and build a personal book of business while moving toward leadership. The role involves going on sales calls, training new hires, and boosting the performance of the sales force through practical programs.

Responsibilities include developing training, evaluating effectiveness, and collaborating with Sales Managers. Candidates should pursue an insurance license and have strong communication skills, with a path toward leadership.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have or be willing to obtain Health & Life general lines license (licensing reimbursement offered).
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional (post-high school) work experience.
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and Manage Your Business: develop a portfolio of clients via cold calls and engage with decision-makers.
• Develop and Implement Training Programs: tailor training for teams and individuals, focusing on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Conduct Training Sessions: lead engaging sessions to motivate recruits and seasoned pros.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers: assess training needs and develop strategies.
• Evaluate Training Effectiveness: measure success via feedback and performance metrics.
• Provide Ongoing Coaching and Support: offer personalized coaching to new reps.
• Mentor and Coach New Hires: provide guidance to new sales reps.
