Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Specialist, Market Operations to provide frontline support across the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE) and Deribit. You will troubleshoot, coordinate cross-functional resolutions, and test deployments to protect production environments.

The role supports 24/7 operations with in-person surge sessions and remote-first collaboration. A background in finance/tech operations with crypto or futures knowledge is preferred, including experience with multi-channel support.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role.
• Demonstrated product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options, including error trade analysis.
• Experience delivering multi-channel support with high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.

Responsibilities

• Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology.
• Provide front-line support for internal and external investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products, implement platform updates, and execute deployment testing in pre-production environments.
• Support onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges, including prediction markets and event contracts listed on CDE.
• Identify, document, and recommend operational process improvements aligned with business objectives and platform growth.
