HUNGRY in Boston is looking for an Operations Manager to own day-to-day catering, delivery, and event operations in the market. You will coordinate Captains, often independent contractors, and work with Sales and Food Partner Management to deliver client meals and events exactly as promised.

You will lead hub readiness and the market’s administrative operations, including time/attendance, expenses, purchasing, and inventory reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in operations, catering, or logistics.
• Experience managing employees and contractor networks.
• Live event logistics and food safety knowledge.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day catering, delivery, and event operations across the market.
• Plan and coordinate local network of Captains and set logistics for on-time execution.
• Recruit and onboard Captains, connect them with training on service and safety.
• Partner with Sales and Food Partner Management to ensure smooth handoffs from booking to execution.
• Oversee hub readiness, stock, inventory, and contractor flow.
• Build logistics plans and coverage to support daily and event operations.
• Maintain vendor and logistics relationships to support daily operations.
• Monitor service quality and flag risks before they affect clients.
