Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking a Market Insights Analyst to deliver fact-based insights that influence strategic planning. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to provide data-backed recommendations and support across functions.

You will translate business needs into research designs, generate actionable reports, and present data in compelling formats while working a hybrid schedule in Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, management or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a similar market insights/analyst role.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and translate them into research design.
• Deliver reports and visuals to aid stakeholder interpretation (pivot tables, graphs).
• Support marketing, sales and product teams with intelligence requests.
• Identify trends in datasets and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Work in a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 remote) in Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY.

What We're Looking For:

As a Market Insights Analyst, you will specialize in providing fact-based insights to influence decision-making and strategic planning. Primary responsibilities include vertical reporting and providing data-based recommendations to business leaders. Additionally, you will collaborate with other analysts on the team to provide support to different business functions and cross functionally work with Zebra marketing, sales, and our product and solutions teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works with senior team members to understand the business need and translate them into an appropriate research design
• Delivers report in format to aid business stakeholder interpretation (pivot tables, graphs, etc.)
• Supports business units and marketing teams on intelligence/research requests
• Utilizes analytical working techniques, problem solving, research/quantitative analysis skills to generate recommendations
• Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets
• Must be able to work hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 remote) in Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Marketing, Finance or similar
• 2+ years of professional experience in a similar position

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• High level of Excel skills strongly preferred
• Power BI and SQL knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical skills - data cleaning and preparation, analyze data to extract answers to business questions
• Ability to present data in a visually compelling format
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attitude to learn and grow within the company

Pay Range

$68,400.00 - $102,600.00

Annual Incentive Compensation

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 5% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
