Job summary

Zebra is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC) Wearable Business Unit. You will drive next-gen mobile computers and wearable scanners, delivered with Zebra and ISV partner software, across industries including Warehouse, Retail, Hospitality, and Healthcare.

You will collaborate with device, accessories, software and services teams to analyze new technologies, grow share in current markets, and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required and 5+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of hardware development and software for wearables in warehouse/retail/manufacturing/healthcare.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of Zebra products, landscape, channels and customer needs.
  • Advocate for voice of customer and feed insights into development.
  • Bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders for alignment.
  • Define and execute demand generation to drive product revenue with regional teams.
  • Prepare business cases and present to internal and external audiences, including senior management.
  • Own product lifecycle management and end-of-life plans for assigned lines.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to assess product success and market impact.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies including positioning, pricing and promotions.
  • Support distribution strategies and provide value proposition insights for launches.
  • Deliver product training to sales, engineers, and support teams.

What We're Looking For

The Senior Product Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's product offerings, ensuring products meet market demands, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role focuses on developing expertise in product lifecycle management, competitive market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to innovation and business growth. As a Senior Product Manager in the Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC) Wearable Business Unit, you will be responsible for the next generation mobile computers and wearable scanners delivered as solutions running Zebra and 3rd party ISV partner software for Warehouse, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, T&L, and other verticals. Work closely with device, accessories, software and services teams to analyze next generation technologies and develop a comprehensive offering. Grow share within current addressable markets and identify new product solution opportunities to expand into new verticals and new markets. Generate solution go-to-market collateral, present to sales, partners, and customers at webinars and other events, and be the champion for your new device solution offering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Zebra's products, competitive landscape, distribution channels, and customer needs
  • Advocate for the voice of the customer, integrating their feedback into product development processes
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment
  • Define and execute demand generation initiatives in an effort to drive realization of product revenue plans in collaboration with regional product and marketing
  • Work autonomously to develop and present business cases by completing supportive research and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences, routinely including senior management
  • Owns product lifecycle management for assigned product lines including tactical execution, managing customer requirements, developing and driving end of life plans and execution of inventory objectives
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and market impact
  • Define and manage product offerings, following the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional initiatives
  • Provides recommendations to influence distribution strategy to meet market needs. Supports product launch by providing a comprehensive understanding of the value proposition
  • Deliver product training to sales, sales engineers, technical support and other internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required. 5+ years of experience Knowledge and understanding of hardware development and software applications relevant to wearable solutions in warehouse, retail, manufacturing and healthcare markets and use cases in these customer environments Experience with product lifecycle management

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred. Experience with mobile computing solutions, including Android OS devices, data capture technologies and AI-driven tools, such as machine learning-based diagnostic systems, virtual assistants, or predictive maintenance solutions Intermediate proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and Confluence Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong business acumen and customer orientation with a proven ability to balance customer needs with business goals Intermediate knowledge of market dynamics and competitive landscapes in enterprise mobile computing and wearable solutions

Location

Role is required to be onsite in Holtsville, NY (preferred location) or Lincolnshire, IL office (Hybrid - Minimum of 3 days in the office per week).

Pay Range

$96,800.00 - $145,200.00

Annual Incentive Compensation

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
