Hy-Vee is hiring Market Grille Clerks to deliver prompt, friendly service at the Market Grille counter. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare and replenish items, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced store kitchen.

No formal education is required; we provide training. Six months or less of related experience is acceptable, with food service experience a plus. Employment includes an opportunity to join a welcoming team focused on customer satisfaction.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service, greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the telephone promptly, including product orders.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare and replenish product as necessary.
• Pull product from the cooler or freezer to prepare for cooking and ensure adequate stock.
• Handle food safely and monitor freshness at all times.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout your shift.
• Check in product, put away, and review invoices as needed.
• Run the department register, receive payment, and make change where applicable.
• Remove trash and wash dishes as necessary.
• Price and order product and deliver orders as needed.
• Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store and take on special projects as assigned.
