Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring Market Grille Clerk to serve up made-to-order food and greet customers with a friendly smile in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll take orders, handle payments, prep and replenish products, and maintain a clean work area while following food safety guidelines and Hy-Vee policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service, greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and handle payments.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare and replenish product.
• Pull product from cooler or freezer for cooking and ensure adequate supply.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and adhere to safety standards.
• Operate the department register and assist with checkout as needed.
• Assist in other areas of the store as required and maintain Hy-Vee policies.
