Hy-Vee's Market Grille Clerks are at the heart of our store, serving fresh, made-to-order food and creating a welcoming experience for every customer. You’ll manage orders, assist teammates, and keep the counter running smoothly.

No formal education is required; we provide all training. Six months or less in food service is a plus. This fast-paced role rewards accuracy, friendly service, and safe food handling.

Aufgaben

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the phone, offering helpful service.
• Review daily orders and anticipate product needs to prepare and replenish as needed.
• Pull products from cooler/freezer to prepare for cooking and ensure adequate supply.
• Handle food safely and monitor freshness of food at all times.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout your shift.
• Assist in checking in product, putting product away, and reviewing invoices as needed.
• Operate the department register, receive payments, and make change where applicable.
• Remove trash timely and wash dishes as necessary.
• Price and order product and deliver orders as needed.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant environment.
• Support other store areas as needed and take on special projects.
