Qualifications

• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus.
• No education requirement; we will provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Able to stand and walk frequently and perform duties in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter and greet customers with a smile.
• Take customer orders and answer calls, ensuring accurate and helpful service.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and replenish product as necessary.
• Prepare and portion products from coolers/freezers and maintain adequate food supply.
• Handle food safely and monitor freshness and quality at all times.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and comply with Hy-Vee policies.
• Assist in other store areas and support team to ensure customer satisfaction.
