Job summary

Bank of America in New York is seeking an experienced Market Leader to back up a financial center, drive client-centric culture, and manage regional operations. You will coach teams, improve processes, and ensure profitability while balancing risk.

The role requires leading managers, coordinating across market initiatives, and maintaining strong client service standards with weekend/extended hours availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of leadership experience demonstrated through coaching, training and/or motivating a work team.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to resolve problems independently to promote customer satisfaction.
• Strong financial and business acumen including experience in leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability.
• Proven record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage others in dialogue and build relationships.
• Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market.

Responsibilities

• Operates as a back up financial center leader within a market.
• Manages client traffic, engaging and routing clients, and fostering client retention.
• Manages business results through formal management routines and coaching.
• Drives operational excellence and ensures cohesive center operation.
• Provides leadership across market-level initiatives prescribed by market leaders.
