Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Market Leader to support a cluster of financial centers in designated markets. You will act as a back-up financial center leader, drive a client-centric culture, coach staff, and oversee business results to ensure cohesive, high-performing operations.

You will manage client flow, lead initiatives from market leaders, and promote organizational risk controls while delivering a world-class client experience. Some travel within the market is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of leadership experience through coaching, training or motivating a work team.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve shared goals.
• Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems independently or escalate as needed to promote customer satisfaction.
• Strong financial and business acumen including experience in leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability.
• Proven record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage others in dialogue and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Operates as a back up financial center leader within a market
• Manages client traffic, engaging and appropriately routing clients, and fostering client retention
• Manages business results through formalized management routines and coaching
• Creates a world class client experience environment
• Manages market level initiatives prescribed by market leaders
• Drives operational excellence
• Potentially manages associates and demonstrates inclusive leadership, process and data ownership, and enterprise communication
• Leads risk management, talent development, and financial stewardship within the team
• Drives recruitment and onboarding to support talent mobility and business goals
• Delivers results through effective team management, structure, and routines
