Job summary

State Bank in Indiana seeks an experienced Market Executive to drive growth, engagement, and regional presence. You will lead business development, supervise market activity, and foster community ties to expand the bank’s footprint.

You will coordinate with lenders, relationship managers, and branches, while ensuring CRA, BSA/AML, ECOA compliance. Local travel is required to cultivate relationships and meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication with a customer-service focus.
• Working knowledge of bank operating policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Basic to intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Office and banking systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to bank standards.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Displayed professionalism, discretion, and ethical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Advance the market's growth by supporting development, engagement, community presence, and collaboration.
• Support the market's marketing plans and annual operating objectives with management alignment.
• Serve as an ambassador of the bank in the local market, networking and COI activities.
• Promote awareness of the bank's full product suite and refer opportunities to internal partners.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, lenders, and branch leaders on calling and referral strategies.
• Develop and maintain COIs and community networks to generate referrals.
• Maintain a structured pipeline and document activities in CRM and reporting systems.
• Provide timely sales and market activity information to management for planning.
• Ensure knowledge of products, services, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to cross-functional teamwork and regular communication with management.
