Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking a Market Development Champion to drive sales, placement, and product mix across designated markets. Under general supervision, you will gain distribution for our brands and build relationships with retailers through in-store execution and strong storytelling.

You will plan and execute annual sales strategies, conduct hundreds of retail calls monthly, and collaborate with brokers and local leaders to deliver on growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in retail sales/Consumer product goods preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales plans for the territory.
• Sell new and increased permanent placement in stores.
• Ensure distribution and in-store display of approved items.
• Coordinate promotions and holiday events with accounts.
• Educate store management on the brand story to drive displays.
• Communicate with account managers and brokers on account/market developments.
• Establish weekly broker calls to communicate selling needs.
• Attend market trade shows and operational meetings.
• Establish partnerships with local operations leaders for growth.
