Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Market Data Operations Analyst I to produce timely, accurate usage reporting for Third-Party Market Data Suppliers and ensure invoices are processed promptly to enable payment.

You will oversee entitlement controls, manage change processes, and support analytics on market data trends, helping teams make informed decisions and improve compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in project management, data analytics, or similar
• Proactive approach to learning, problem identification, and resolution
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Service-oriented for internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with generative AI tools considered a plus
• Exposure to workflow automation or basic scripting (Python, SQL, Excel macros) a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the preparation and distribution of consistent, comprehensive usage reporting to Third-Party Market Data Suppliers on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
• Centralize and automate Third-Party Market Data Supplier reporting and expense data across multiple business units
• Validate invoices through reconciliation against usage reporting and contractual obligations
• Collaborate with market data and corporate systems stakeholders to streamline payment processes and improve efficiency
• Monitor trends for anomalies, inconsistencies, and fluctuations requiring investigation
• Collaborate with clients to facilitate market data entitlement onboarding
• Coordinate third-party source approvals and ensure supplier policy compliance
• Resolve queries regarding client entitlements, usage reporting, and billing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Oversee and reconcile change management processes involving Market Data Operations and Compliance
• Manage special projects and tasks as assigned
