MRISpokane is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager for the Greater Washington market. The role focuses on building a market, not merely maintaining an existing portfolio, by developing new relationships across Washington, D.C.

and Northern Virginia and delivering integrated banking solutions. Ideal candidates bring commercial banking experience, strong credit knowledge, and a proven ability to identify deposit and treasury opportunities while expanding COI networks in the region.

Qualifications

• Commercial banking experience or related business banking exposure.
• Approximately 2+ years of direct commercial banking experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new relationships and pipelines.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit and deposit opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Originate new commercial banking relationships across Washington, D.C. and/or Northern Virginia.
• Develop a pipeline of privately held businesses and commercial prospects.
• Structure and originate appropriate commercial credit opportunities.
• Generate core deposits and treasury management relationships.
• Build relationships with business owners, executives and financial decision-makers.
• Develop productive centers of influence and referral partnerships.
• Maintain an active presence in local business, nonprofit and community organizations.
• Partner with credit, treasury and other internal specialists to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
• Manage relationships based on overall profitability and long-term potential.
• Contribute to the development of a growing commercial banking franchise.
