Job summary

Primis Bank in Alabama is seeking a customer service oriented Teller to assist new and existing customers with transactions, account inquiries, and referrals to the right team members. You will handle deposits, cash checks, and maintain accurate records while upholding bank policies.

You will actively identify opportunities to meet customers' financial needs through cross-selling, maintain accuracy in balancing cash, and support branch operations including ATM and vault duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Customer service experience in a retail environment is required.
• Sales experience with cross-selling is preferred.
• Previous retail bank experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions per standards.
• Promote solutions to customers' financial needs and meet sales goals.
• Refer customers to the Primis staff who can meet their needs.
• Maintain Balancing Standard Guidelines and audit scores.
• Handle special services such as foreign currency, direct deposits, outgoing wires.
• Support market center operations including ATM, vault, night depository, and cash management.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
