The Central Market Area Coordinator (MAC) will support the New Ford Tech programs, Mobile Service, Ford Pro Elite, and assist Technical Placement Specialists in their designated market area. The MAC must understand Ford Service Capacity and its impact on our bottom line. The primary focus is to improve Technician Count and support dealer technician retention efforts.

This is a remote-based role; candidates must reside in Dallas, TX. Travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

You'll have…

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years' experience in event activation
  • 2+ years automotive service technical background
  • Willingness to relocate and travel regularly (weekly)
  • Strong understanding of Dealership Parts and Service Operations
  • Knowledge of technician productivity and service capacity constraints
  • Project/program management experience and business acumen
  • Ability to work independently, follow through, and solve problems quickly

Responsibilities

What you'll do…

  • Coordinate with regional/market teams on business plans to meet technician count goals.
  • Manage and review the market area calendar of events.
  • Facilitate market area events, including registration, coordination, and support with literature and giveaways.
  • Assess and identify program needs (tools, equipment, marketing).
  • Partner with New Ford Tech programs to promote Ford and Lincoln as destinations for students/technicians.
  • Support efforts to identify opportunities for technician recruiting and retention.
  • Lead for Top Techs+ and Tech Connect Program execution—training and supporting regional teams.
  • Support Ford Pro Elite dealer efforts to establish technician pipelines.
  • Assist onboarding of new TPS in the market, including travel to familiarize them with their territory.
  • Lead tech recruiting, recognition, and retention efforts, providing monthly performance reports during regional meetings.
  • Achieve technician count and placement objectives, including event support, program utilization, retention, and engagement metrics.
