Fire Alarm and Security Sales Representative

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Sales Representative to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our FT Worth, TX location.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Selling new construction, retro-fit, fire alarm system monitoring, and tenant improvement fire alarm work in the Lubbock area market. Responsible for prospecting and developing new customers, business, and customer development, including up-selling and multi-line development of services, as well as providing and negotiating pricing for fire alarm contract sales.
  2. Maintaining established accounts through regular customer contact to pursue follow-up sales.
  3. Reporting progress and supplying metrics to operations and corporate teams weekly and monthly.
  4. Participating in product demonstrations and events to increase sales and enhance the company’s image.
  5. Experience in service and inspection sales is a plus.
  6. Presenting to potential clients and negotiating in direct sales opportunities.
  7. Knowledge of the fire alarm industry and the Fort Worth region.
  8. Business-to-business sales experience.
  9. Bid market sales experience in the Fort Worth area.
  10. Ability to satisfy State, Federal, and Customs background check requirements.
