Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a technical leader to drive the development and integration of vehicle systems for a maritime product, from concept through delivery. You will partner with program leadership, teams from other Anduril products, and third-party vendors to align requirements with customer inputs and ensure traceability to program decisions.

You will set objectives, build cross-functional teams, and push to rapid completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience as an Engineer across multiple domains or technologies.
• Proven track record as a project lead/manager driving cross-discipline execution.
• Experience with detailed product/system level planning and transitions to production.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and triage blockers across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle system, interfaces, and overall performance against program requirements.
• Own schedule and execution for vehicle system across product generations.
• Manage vehicle system budget and cost performance, drive cost reduction.
• Provide technical leadership for design principles and issue resolution.
• Escalate decisions through the vehicle system team and Chief Engineer as needed.
• Represent vehicle system in leadership and customer meetings.
• Lead vehicle team cadences including standups, planning, retros, and reviews.
• Interface with Chief Engineer and other system leads to resolve challenges.
• Align execution with Production, Payloads, Mission Systems, and others to meet schedule.
• Drive platform-level trade studies for architectural updates and mentorship of engineers.
