Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a senior technical leader to drive maritime autonomous systems from concept through delivery. You will align customer inputs with program decisions and oversee architecture, trade studies, and verification across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will collaborate with Strategy and growth teams to ensure traceability to requirements, manage risk, and guide rapid iteration toward field-ready solutions for naval applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or proven experience in naval architecture or systems engineering.
• 15+ years of technical leadership in defense systems.
• Strong systems engineering and architecture background.
• Understanding HW/SW roadmaps and program requirements.
• Willingness to travel 25% to customer and test sites.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the initial design, prototyping, capability verification, and delivery of a maritime autonomous system.
• Define system architecture, requirements, and system/sub-system trades with optimization.
• Perform systems engineering analyses for rapid concept iteration with SMEs and growth team.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain to embed design for manufacturing early.
• Work with senior leadership to ensure resource plans are adequate for scope.
• Oversee technical execution of generation of a new surface product for Anduril Maritime.
• Define capabilities, milestones and demonstrations for continuous development.
