Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a versatile Test & Evaluation Engineer for the Maritime team in Santa Ana, CA. You will own the hardware test lifecycle from requirements through floor test execution and operational evaluations.

You will develop test strategies, design custom rigs, instrument systems, and guide testing across simulation platforms and on-water trials, shaping a world‑class test organization within SEIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering field.
• 3–7+ years in test engineering and evaluation of complex systems.
• Experience across the full test lifecycle from requirements to execution.
• Hands-on instrumentation, wiring, and data acquisition.
• U.S. Person capable of obtaining DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ingest requirements to develop Test & Evaluation Plans and DVP&R.
• Own HITL architectures, generate test plans, and execute tests.
• Design and oversee hydrostatic pressure tests for subsea hardware.
• Design, fabricate and validate test rigs and fixtures.
• Lead floor and field integration, testing, and environmental validation.
• Acquire and analyze data to compare against system targets.
• Lead root-cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facilities, labs, and vendors for testing.
• Mentor engineers and help scale the test team.
