Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology leader, is seeking a highly motivated maritime test engineer focused on developmental testing of autonomous systems. The role emphasizes planning, execution, and reporting across shore and sea-based testing, collaborating with program leadership to solve hard problems.

You will lead full system level test and evaluation of hardware and software, guide field operations, and ensure test documentation throughout development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in systems engineering, integration and testing.
• 4+ years as lead test conductor/test director for developmental systems on sea craft.
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and coordinate work phases.
• Broad understanding of engineering concepts and related disciplines.
• Experience with maritime operating rules and regulations.
• Strong Linux/CLI and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel for test planning and execution.
• Ability to work extended hours and obtain TS clearance.
• Subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute full system level T&E of hardware and software.
• Integrate subsystems and autonomy software into underwater sensor products.
• Provide guidance to Field Operations on tests and scheduling.
• Maintain test documentation throughout development and test cycles.
• Collaborate with program management to set requirements and milestones.
• Coordinate with external partners during integration and test phases.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team through shore and sea-based testing.
• Conduct data collection and initial analysis from test results.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
