Anduril Industries seeks a versatile Test & Evaluation Engineer for the Maritime team in Santa Ana, CA. You will own the hardware test lifecycle from requirements to on-floor execution, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to validate complex maritime systems.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, building rigs and instrumentation, and leading hands-on testing across simulations and real-world trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3–7+ years of experience spanning test engineering and evaluation of complex systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with mechanical/electrical instrumentation and data acquisition tools.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Ingest requirements, define test methodologies, build test rigs, and manage execution across hardware/equipment.
• Own HITL architectures, test plans, and verification of sensors, actuators, and fault modes.
• Design and oversee hydrostatic/pressure testing setups for subsea hardware and structures.
• Lead test fixture and rig design, fabrication, and validation.
• Coordinate floor/field execution, environmental validation, and troubleshooting on production floors and during trials.
• Perform data acquisition, analysis, and validation against system targets.
• Lead root-cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with vendors and laboratories to scope, instrument, and conduct complex tests.
• Mentor engineers/technicians and help scale the test organization.
