Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a versatile Test & Evaluation Engineer for the Maritime team in Santa Ana, CA. You will own hardware test lifecycle from requirements ingestion to floor testing and evaluations, interfacing with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure system-level verification.

Lead test architecture, build custom rigs, and execute tests across simulation platforms and on-water trials, while mentoring junior engineers and scaling the team for future capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Marine or Mechatronics).
• 3–7+ years in test engineering, integration and evaluation of complex systems.
• US Person required for access to export-controlled info; eligible for active US DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ingest requirements and design test plans, VCRM, DVP&R, and SOPs.
• Own HITL test architectures, plan generation, and execution across assets.
• Design and oversee hydrostatic/pressure vessel tests for subsea hardware.
• Design, build and validate specialized test fixtures and ground support equipment.
• Lead floor and field execution, environmental validation, and troubleshooting.
• Acquire and analyze data with sensors, data loggers, and DAQ modules.
• Lead root-cause analyses (8D, FMEA) and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to close verifications and validations.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and scale the test team.
