Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a versatile Test & Evaluation Engineer for the Maritime team. You will own the hardware test lifecycle from requirements ingestion to floor testing and operational evaluations, interfacing with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

You will design test strategies, build rigs, instrument systems, and conduct HITL and environmental tests across maritime assets, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and help scale a world‑class test

Qualifications

Educational background in relevant engineering disciplines.
Experience spanning end-to-end test lifecycle on complex systems.
Eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

Ingest requirements and develop Test & Evaluation Plans, VCRM, DVP&R, and SOPs.
Own HITL architectures, test plan generation, and execution across major assets.
Design, build, and oversee hydrostatic testing setups for subsea hardware.
Design, fabricate, and validate specialized test fixtures and rigs.
Lead floor and field integration, environmental validation, and troubleshooting.
Select, calibrate instrumentation and data loggers for test data acquisition.
Lead root-cause analyses (8D, FMEA) and drive corrective actions.
Coordinate with facilities and external labs for environmental and structural tests.
Interface with hardware suppliers and lead technical briefs for stakeholders.
Mentor engineers and technicians to scale the test organization.
