Job summary

The Risk Manager at Moran Towing Corporation will own enterprise risk financing and claims administration across maritime operations. This role collaborates with operations, finance, legal, and vendors to optimize insurance coverage and regulatory compliance, supporting Moran's safety and operational excellence.

You will develop analytics on premiums, losses, and risk, build dashboards (Power BI), manage policy renewals, and guide loss-prevention strategies across shoreside and fleet activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management or related field.
• 5–8 years in risk management with 2 years in a management role.
• Experience building dashboards and using RMIS tools like Power BI or Origami Risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor enterprise risk management initiatives across Moran operations.
• Build dashboards and provide management reporting on premiums, losses, and total cost of risk.
• Coordinate policy renewals and assess coverage with brokers and internal teams.
• Lead claims management for marine, liability, and workers’ compensation.
• Support budgeting and regulatory reporting related to insurance programs.
• Drive loss-prevention strategies with Safety, Operations, and Legal teams.
