Job summary

Vane Line Bunkering Llc in New York City is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the safe and efficient movement of tugboats and barges delivering petroleum products across the United States. You will be the first point of contact for vessel crews, customers, and trade partners, coordinating vessel schedules with agents and terminals, and supporting the Fleet Logistics team.

Initial training occurs in Baltimore, followed by a Court Street office assignment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in logistics or maritime operations is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule vessel movements across multiple ports and monitor schedules.
• Coordinate loadings and deliveries with cargo terminals and vessel agents.
• Maintain real-time communications with vessel crews and trade partners.
• Input cargo nominations into logistics software and track orders.
• Provide direct customer support and problem-solving for clients.
