Job summary

Centerline Logistics seeks an experienced vessel maintenance coordinator to schedule and perform repairs and routine maintenance on tugs and barges. You will coordinate parts purchasing, track maintenance records, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

The role requires strong organizational skills and maritime knowledge. Applicants should have several years in the maritime industry, a relevant marine degree, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining tugs and barges within maritime operations.
• Coordinating maintenance, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Able to read and interpret technical instructions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and perform flow of work based on orders and resources.
• Keep records of maintenance hours, fuel, and report to funding agencies.
• Coordinate purchasing of parts and services for repair projects.
• Perform vessel inspections for repair standards and regulatory compliance.
• Track costs of repairs and projects against budget.
• Perform emergency repairs as required.
