Job summary

Carrier seeks a Marine HVAC Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site services to maritime and offshore clients, servicing, installing, maintaining, and upgrading air-conditioning and cooling systems on ships and platforms. The role requires frequent travel, including international trips, and availability for 24/7 support, often aboard cruise ships or in global ports.

You will communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement with the field

Qualifications

• Requires degree or equivalent; HVAC background essential.
• Experience in marine HVAC or offshore installations preferred.
• Ability to convey technical info to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems on ships and offshore platforms.
• Perform advanced tests and technical analyses of implementations.
• Diagnose malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Communicate findings clearly to varied audiences.
• Commissioning new installations with owners/shipbuilding teams.
• Provide high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
• Develop product expertise and report issues.
