MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions seeks a Marine Chiller Technician to service, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems aboard marine vessels. This traveling role offers independence in dynamic environments worldwide and emphasizes hands-on problem solving.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in chiller maintenance, EPA 608 certification, and strong customer-service orientation. Union benefits apply; Seattle HQ location supports travel from SeaTac area.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in chiller and refrigeration system maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• EPA Section 608 certification (required).
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (intermediate level).

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance on marine chillers and refrigeration systems aboard vessels.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair on HVAC systems aboard marine vessels.
• Educate clients on operating and maintaining their systems.
• Create and submit detailed maintenance and repair reports.
• Mentor peers and junior technicians in advanced troubleshooting techniques.
