Job summary

Host Agency, LLC in Houston seeks a Freight Forwarder to oversee end-to-end maritime documentation for import and export vessel calls, preparing and dispatching bills of lading, manifests, and origin certificates with precision.

You will file regulatory submissions (AES/AMS), monitor schedules, maintain records, and act as SME for key customers while collaborating with shippers, terminals, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in freight forwarding, maritime documentation, or logistics is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and dispatch cargo documentation (bills of lading, manifests, certificates of origin).
• File AES, AMS, and other regulatory submissions on time.
• Monitor vessel schedules and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain vessel, cargo, and shipment data in internal systems.
• Communicate with shippers, receivers, terminals, and vendors to obtain shipment information.
• Serve as documentation SME for assigned customers.
• Assist team with documentation tasks during busy periods.
