Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks Software Engineers to drive autonomous maritime software integrated into our products. You will own end-to-end development across autonomy, simulation, data processing, and off-board command and control within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will design scalable software, implement reusable components across product lines, and work on software running on- and off- robotic platforms. Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains.
Experience with algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scalability, testing, and design.
Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
Ability to own software services end-to-end and collaborate with stakeholders.
Willingness to obtain/maintain active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Empathize with end-users and drive solutions in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, delivering value.
Design and implement scalable software with a path for architecture evolution.
Develop reusable components across Anduril product lines.
Create software for both robotic and non-robotic platforms.
Support vehicle and mission software through full lifecycle testing and operation.
Create test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
Assist manufacturing and deployment of vehicles.
Mentor junior engineers and work within a multidisciplinary team.
Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or other teams.
