Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced robotics engineer to design and implement autonomous behaviors for maritime robotic systems. You will work across perception, planning, and control stacks, translating operational requirements into deployable autonomy solutions.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, hardware leads, and mission stakeholders to prototype, test, and refine software in a full lifecycle context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of robotics or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 for sensor integration and system orchestration.
• C++ or Python for embedded Linux robotics and real-time systems.
• Knowledge of state estimation, localization, and navigation concepts.
• Ability to communicate complex topics and support software deployment with version control and CI/CD.

Responsibilities
