Job summary

Let's Work LLC seeks a Marine Structural Engineer to conduct structural analysis and design resilient marine installations. You will develop calculation packages for offshore structures, vessels, and waterfront facilities, working through concept to field installation.

FE/EIT certification is required, with a PE license preferred. 3+ years in maritime structural design or analysis is ideal for this role, which offers hybrid schedule and exposure to high-visibility projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related ABET-accredited field.
• FE/EIT certification is strictly required.
• 3+ years in structural design or engineering analysis, preferably maritime.

Responsibilities

• Perform global and local finite element analyses, fatigue, buckling, and hydrodynamic loads.
• Prepare structural calculation sheets, drawings, and specs per ABS/DNV/LR and USCG/API.
• Lead licensure stamping and review field welds, shop drawings, and variances.
• Coordinate with naval architects, mechanical engineers, geotechnical experts, and managers.
• Present calculation packages to clients, authorities, and class societies.
