Job summary

Semper Speed & Marine is a busy marine dealership seeking a motivated full-time Service Advisor to greet customers, schedule services, and document repairs clearly for technicians. Strong typing, communication, and computer skills are essential, with a weather-ready team mindset and weekend availability.

You will work with the service team to create accurate work orders, manage the calendar, and coordinate with parts and sales to fulfill customer needs. Previous boating experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong typing and accuracy for documenting customer concerns.
• Clear written communication with attention to detail.
• Comfortable with computers and dealership/service software.
• Ability to translate customer descriptions into organized work orders.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Boats experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and manage the daily service calendar.
• Check in boats and create detailed service work orders.
• Type customer complaints and repairs into service work orders.
• Document conversations and repair information clearly for technicians.
• Coordinate with technicians on job status and repair timelines.
• Order parts and track backordered items.
• Prepare estimates and obtain customer approvals.
• Assist customers with maintenance, repairs, and warranty questions.
• Submit warranty and insurance claims.
• Bill and collect payments for services.
• Communicate service updates by phone and email.
• Follow up after service to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Parts and Sales to support customer needs.
